Bauer Secures California Gurl Katy Perry

Bauer Media has secured another big name international star for a networked music special.

An in depth exclusive interview with Grammy Award winning Katy Perry, will be broadcast on Bauer's In:Demand programme across 20 of the Bauer stations.

Key 103, Radio City, Rock FM, Hallam FM, Viking FM, Radio Aire, Metro Radio, TFM, CFM, Clyde 1, Forth 1, Cool FM, Northsound 1, MFR, Radio Tay, Radio Borders, West FM, Wave 105, and digital stations heat, and The Hits will all take part in the broadcast.

The interview follows on-air ticket giveaways to Katy's California Dreams Tour on each of the 20 stations breakfast shows where lucky Bauer listeners also won the chance to meet Katy face to face backstage before she performs in front of thousands of fans.

The in-depth exclusive with Katy Perry, one of the biggest stars in pop, is the latest in a number of interviews and music specials with major music acts such as Rihanna and the Kings of Leon, and is part of Bauer's continued commitment to bringing the very best music content and entertainment to its listeners.

From 7pm on Thursday 7th April, the Bauer portfolio of stations will run the two hour Katy Perry special consisting of a 'Katy Perry In:Demand interview, and Katy's very own exclusive "California Gurls" takeover.
