Damien Hirst Designs Covers For Pop Magazine

Damien Hirst has designed two covers for the new POP magazine, available on the news-stands on 1 September 2009.

From its two Damien Hirst covers; four different paper stocks; a pull out fashion book-a-zine by M/M Paris and a unique poster fanzine – POP’s editorial richness and direction heralds a new creative era for the title.

Editor in Chief, Dasha Zhukova and Editorial Director Ashley Heath have brought in an exciting new fashion team, a new art direction approach and the winning theme of "Change Is Now".

POP’s cover star is the fashion world’s newest sensation, 13 year old Tavi Gevinson, whose blog – The New Girl In Town – is one of the fastest growing on the Internet with over 4m followers. Tavi is photographed by Buffalo legend Jamie Morgan and inside the magazine Dasha heralds Tavi as a breakthrough talent in a new era of global cultural growth

POP Magazine is on sale for £5 from Tuesday 1st September.
