Bauer Media's men's lifestyle brand FHM has teamed up with top chef Arthur Potts-Dawson, founder of London’s "best new restaurant"* Acorn House, and the online grocer Ocado to produce the ultimate online cooking guide for young men.
ChefHM will be a series of over 25 instructional videos produced by the FHM team aimed at teaching young men all over Britain how to achieve food nirvana.
Recipes include: the ultimate fry-up; a three-course meal that guarantees romantic triumph; the perfect roast dinner; a giant man sandwich; healthy detox recipes and many more.
Presented by Potts-Dawson, and FHM's award-winning features editor Ben Wilson, the videos will run on FHM.com over three months, building up into the complete set of instructional videos for the amateur male cook.
The videos – produced in conjunction with Ocado – will have a dedicated section on FHM.com and will play out in the FHMTV section of the site from this month.
New videos will be uploaded weekly for two months, and will then form a permanent set of tutorials on the site. ChefHM will also be available as a download from iTunes.
Viewers will be able to purchase every ingredient used by ChefHM on Ocado.com’s dedicated shopping aisles for FHM readers.
Chris Mooney, Editor-In-Chief of FHM.com, commented:
“Men, myself included, regard being a skilled cook as essential these days. So we’ve cut to the chase, got two of the best people we could find – one of Britain’s finest chefs and one of Britain’s funniest writers – and produced a complete cookery course for the modern man. The steak and fry-up recipes in particular will serve me well for the rest of my life”.
