The September issue of FHM, out today, includes two magazines in one and a brand new front section, the first in a series of new content and brand developments under recently appointed Editor Colin Kennedy.
FHM BIONIC, following its successful reintroduction late last year to tap into FHM's broad readership of active young men, returns as a 50-page magazine reverse bound into the September issue and features exclusive interviews with sportsmen of the moment Floyd Mayweather, Lewis Hamilton and Mark Cavendish. FHM Bionic will now be published twice a year with FHM.
The new front section will be called ACCESS – The Bit Where You Come In and is 100% interactive based on reader questions, texts, jokes and comments.
This month's ACCESS section includes FHM staffers lining up against Olympic Champion and the world's fastest man Usain Bolt to see just how much of head start is required to beat him; and also provides answers and advice to such queries as: "How much would it cost to build the Starship Enterprise?", and, "How to teach a dog to skateboard?"
These developments to FHM will be supported by a substantial seven-figure marketing investment including ground-breaking promotions, events, advertising and trade marketing activity.
Geoff Campbell, MD Bauer Media Men’s Lifestyle Brands, commented “These exciting developments are the first steps in the evolution process being driven by Colin’s compelling vision for FHM, a brand that uniquely understands the dynamic world of young men.”
