Magic 105.4 retains crown as number 1 music station in London, ahead of Capital, Heart, BBC Radio 1 & BBC Radio 2

Magic 105.4 only commercial music station to reach over 2m listeners

- Magic 105.4 is the biggest commercial music station in London for reach (2,051m, up 12.6% year on year), hours (13,138m, up 6%yoy) and share (6.3%, up 3.3% yoy)
- Magic 105.4 reaches 2,051m listeners in London, ahead of BBC Radio 2 (2,013m), Capital (1,961m); Kiss 100 (1,821m); Heart (1,766m); and BBC Radio 1 (1,642m)
- After beating BBC Radio 2 for the first time in Q3 2010, Magic 105.4 becomes the first commercial music station in London to do so for two consecutive quarters
- The Magic Breakfast Show with Neil Fox increased its reach to 853k listeners (up 9% yoy), once again beating Heart Breakfast with Jamie & Harriet  (728k)

Kiss 100 leapfrogs Heart to become the third biggest commercial music station in London, and beats BBC Radio 1

Across the UK Kiss grows by more than 562,000 listeners year on year

- Kiss 100 reached 1,821m listeners in Q4 2010, ahead of Heart on 1,766m and BBC Radio 1 on 1,642m, and not too far behind sister station Magic 105.4, on 2,051m
- Kiss 100 is now biggest station in London for reach and share amongst 15-24, 15-34 and 15-44 year olds, beating Capital, Heart, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2
- The station reached 1,821m listeners in Q4 2010 (up 13.5% year on year), and registered hours of 10,431m (up 20.3% yoy) and a share of 5% (up 16.3% yoy)
- The reach of Kiss 100's Rickie, Melvin & Charlie Breakfast Show (777k, up 17% year on year) overtakes Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston for the first time. Rickie, Melvin and Charlie also reach 62% more 15-24s than Chris Moyles.
- Across the UK Kiss reaches 3,947m (up 17% yoy), with 21,188m hours (up 15%yoy)

Bauer Radio takes number 1 spot in 20 of 25 markets in the UK

Bauer commercial stations dominate from Southampton to Inverness, and from Belfast to Hull

- Bauer Radio's focus on tailoring content for local communities proves a winner, as it retains its number 1 position in 20 of 25 key markets across the UK, including London, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Manchester's Key 103 enjoyed a 8.5% share (up 19.7 yoy) and entertained over 12,000 people at the sell out Jingle Ball Live at the MEN Arena with 14 top artists.

With a local Toy Appeal, Rossie's 24 hour breakfast show and the return of £1000 pay days, Liverpool's Radio City listeners tuned in for 3.7m hours, an increase of 14.9% yoy.

Downtown's 276k listeners went online to get latest on Northern Ireland's worst weather for 30 years. Magic network in the north of England posted an additional 900,000 hours, and increased reach from 798k to over 822k.

In Scotland, more than 1.75m people a week listen to a Bauer station.

Our eight stations all retained commercial market leadership with a market share of 23.7%. 

We also broadcast the number one commercial breakfast show at every one of our stations and increased overall listening to a Bauer station by 52,000.

MFR enjoyed a 56% reach across its broadcast area and Northsound remains number 1 in its TSA with a market share of 21.6%. Strong performances were seen by Glasgow's Radio Clyde and Dundee's Tay FM, (share, hours and reach increased yoy at both stations), where listeners came to us first for up to date weather, schools and travel information in the winter weather. Tay's Facebook page went from 600 to 12,000 fans in a matter of days.

In an extremely competitive TSA on the South Coast, Wave 105 delivered another great book, increasing hours to 4.4m, up 22.9% yoy, with a market share of 11.3%, up 24% yoy. The skilful blend of popular music and a team of engaging presenters and local news reporters, creates a winning formula, making the station the most relevant and popular choice for 387k listeners in the south.

Bauer Radio digital stations see continued success

- The Hits increases its reach to 1,123m (up 11.1% yoy) and hours to 3,994 (up 23% yoy), remaining the biggest commercial station
- Smash Hits increased its reach to 1,045m (up 21.8% yoy) and hours to 3,525 (up 36.8% yoy), with heat reaching 557k (up 24.6% yoy), increasing to 1,971m hours
