London’s number one commercial radio station, Magic 105.4, can today announce that Boyzone member and pop icon Ronan Keating will be joining the station as new presenter.
Ronan will present every Sunday from 2-4pm, starting on 10 January 2010 with a mix of great music chosen by Ronan and Magic 105.4 listeners and a few of his friends will join him. The Boyzone star has sold over 22 million albums internationally and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles in the UK chart. His solo career back catalogue includes the hits When You Say Nothing At All, Life Is A Rollercoaster and Lovin’ Each Day.
This will be the first time Ronan has had his own radio show, but he has previously been a popular guest presenter on Magic 105.4 including stepping in for Kim Wilde on Mother’s Day 2009. Ronan is also currently preparing for his tour in Spring 2010.
The addition of Ronan to Magic 105.4’s presenter line up will see an all-star Sunday schedule with Kim Wilde’s Secret Songs from 10am to 2pm, followed by Ronan at 2pm, and followed by Magic 105.4’s Indulgence show which has featured guests such as Ricky Gervais, Boris Johnson and Bill Nighy. Ronan Keating joins Magic 105.4’s stella presenter line-up which includes More Music breakfast host Neil Fox and Drivetime presenter Angie Greaves.
