Target Media has secured a solus deal with Bauer Media's rock brand Kerrang! to promote Icon Film Distribution’s forthcoming movie release Pandorum.
The £60,000 deal, created and brokered by Target Media and Bauer Media’s Radio Strategy and Solutions team, will see the Kerrang! Network (including Kerrang! 105.2 and Kerrang! Digital) run an exclusive competition for listeners, in conjunction with Pandorum, offering the chance to win a once in a lifetime zero gravity flight in the USA. The on air competition will also be supported by promotion within Kerrang! magazine and Kerrang! online.
The competition will see contestants battle for the prize on Friday 2nd October, to coincide with the release date of the film.
The contestants will compete in a 24-hour endurance task where they will be isolated in a capsule and subjected to sensory deprivation challenges for the chance to win the ultimate prize.
The competition mechanic will be highly interactive with Kerrang! Network listeners watching the entire event online through individual webcams and choosing what happens next to the contestants through an online voting system.
