Grazia Live Up For Innovation Award
The British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) have announced the 2012 shortlist for the Innovation/Brand-Building Initiative of the Year and Jane Bruton and the Grazia team have been included for Grazia Live.
Back in February we flung open the doors of the Grazia office to create a week-long online “docu-drama” series. For one week prior to the publication of their Spring Big Fashion Issue, a series of “real-time” daily interactive films and supporting webstreams followed all the excitement of the magazine’s creation.
Working with creative agency Gravity Road and sponsored by LG, the project was a huge success. Unique users on Grazia daily increased by a massive 138% and over a million views of the branded entertainment films were seen across the period. On Twitter #grazia_live and #graziagoeslive were trending topics in London and New York. The issue was the biggest ever revenue generating Spring Big Fashion Issue.
Many congratulations to everyone who worked on the campaign for being shortlisted alongside the cream of the magazine industry. The winners are announced on 12th November - we have 11 other nominations within the overall awards, so will be keeping everything crossed!
