HEAT MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES CHANGES
Bauer Media today announces that Lucie Cave has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of its heat brand with immediate effect. heat has enjoyed a number of exciting developments over the past year with a market beating magazine performance, the launch of heat TV, the heat Extra app, new live programming on heat radio and strong growth in social media.
In this newly created role Lucie will work closely with all heat product teams across the magazine, heatworld, heat TV and heat radio. She will create new and exciting content which will extend heat’s audience reach and engage its consumers in a uniquely innovative way.
Lucie, who has been editor of the magazine since September 2011, currently hosts two weekend radio shows on heat radio, as well as fronting TV shows on heat TV.
Jeremy Mark will take up the position of editor, focusing solely on the magazine in order to continue to build on heat’s strong performance within a fiercely competitive marketplace.
Jeremy joined heat four years ago as Deputy Editor. He has extensive weekly experience having previously worked as Associate Editor and then Deputy Editor on Now. Prior to that he spent 12 years at BBC Magazines where, after joining as a writer on Number One magazine, he became Editor of Live & Kicking and then Editor-in-Chief of Teenage Projects, launching It's Hot! and Star: The Celebrity Magazine.
Both Lucie and Jeremy will report directly into heat Publisher Nicky Holt.
