The award-winning Advertising Operations team oversee and ensure the delivery of digital advertising for display, audio and video across the UK Bauer network. Our team members take an active role in not only participating in but shaping Bauer culture, ranging from our in-house mental health initiative to raising money for local charities and launching Bauer’s first LGTBQ+ week.
The focus of your role:
As an Advertising Technology Executive, you are responsible for supporting the Advertising Operations team by troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise, particularly when campaign delivery is at risk. Further to this, you will be involved in project work, which ranges from testing advertising integrations on our apps and websites to developing and releasing new ad products across the Bauer Media network.
What you’ll do:
Your key responsibilities are:
• Supporting Advertising Operations and other teams by responding to any issues in a prioritised and timely manner
• Troubleshooting technical issues across display, audio and video ad products
• Creating documentation and providing training to team members
• Creating and enhancing ad products using a combination of coding and liaising with internal and external teams
• Testing advertising integrations and site changes to ensure ads deliver correctly
• Learning coding languages such as HTML5, CSS and JS
• Seeing challenges as opportunities

• An interest in web technology and coding
o You have a keen interest in coding that you’d love to expand on
• Great troubleshooting skills with an eye for detail
• Competent, detailed documentation
o You can create accurate and clear documentation for yourself and other team members
• Great communication skills
o You frequently develop build strong relationships internally and externally
o As priorities can change on a regular basis you can switch tasks at a moment’s notice and signpost any delays to relevant team/project members

Full-time (37.5 hrs per week), 9am – 5:30pm
