Circulation & Trade Marketing Manager – Egmont Magazines UK

Seymour Distribution Ltd is part of the Frontline Group, which represents over 40% share of the magazine market. Included within the diverse Seymour portfolio are titles such as Disney Frozen, Lego Star Wars, Disney Princess and Toxic.

An opportunity has arisen in our dynamic Client Services team to work closely with the Trade Marketing Director & the Client Management team. This is a key client-facing role with one of Europe’s largest Publishers of children’s magazines and books. This is a full time office based role in London and will require some travel within London and the UK.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

 Experience in a client-facing role in a commercial environment
 Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
 A high level of proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
 Professionalism, adaptability, initiative and the ability to work accurately under pressure
 Exemplary organizational and administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
 Excellent presentation skills

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

 To deliver portfolio and title level strategic objectives in line with Publishers annual plan. Core measurements include sales, supply, sales efficiencies, waste %’s & lifecycle stage

 To be the first point of contact for your Publishing clients for any enquiries

 To regularly meet your Publishing client contacts and to prepare and present monthly circulation packs and any other ad-hoc information that has been requested

 To manage the weekly print order process, EPoS predictions and Magstats

 Monitor & report upon portfolio and title level performance versus objectives & the market.

 To manage and be accountable for all aspects of the circulation process including new launches

 To support and work with the Trade Marketing Director in delivering all aspects of trade marketing activity and ensuring the agreed activity is incorporated in to title level circulation plans

 To regularly present updates to Publisher’s, at Magazine Department meetings, during internal Seymour meetings and project groups as well as within team meetings

 To manage and maintain the budgeting process for all titles under your management including annual forecasting of sales and supply, reviewing those forecasts every quarter in line with the Seymour financial processes and maintaining the accuracy of internal systems to reflect the forecasting changes

 To attend internal Seymour project group initiatives in line with the company strategy
