Digital Executive / Digital Business Executive

To work with the Head of Operations and the other members of the Xcel team to deliver first rate brand propositions online and grow our affiliate, partnership and transactional revenue streams year on year.

Brands worked on could vary but focus will be given to the flagship websites in Automotive initially, mostly Parkers.co.uk. Focused on driving our affiliate, partnership and transactional areas of the site to ensure they are meeting the overall commercial objectives.  Priorities will set by the Head of Operations.

  • Develop (along with the wider team) the websites to deliver first class digital offerings
  • Monitor and analyse traffic, engagement, user behaviour and key conversion funnels and provide recommendations based on this insight for testing and UX improvements
  • Areas of focus would include MVT, CRO and improving the key metrics set by the business
  • Support and manage 3rd party partnership relationships along with Bauer own products and services to ensure we have the best deals in place for our consumers and are getting the optimum from our partnership relationships
  • Monitor KPI’s and revenue performance to ensure targets are being met
  • Work closely with marketing, editorial, SEO and senior management to ensure targets are met and growth is achieved across all revenue streams
  • Monitor competitor activity and performance
  • Work with the commercial teams to identify best potential partners for all new revenue streams
  • General support of the websites with regards to development, traffic and marketing

 

Skills required:

Experience in analysing user behaviour, optimising customer journeys and conversion funnels.

Excellent analytical skills and generally have an inquisitive mind.

Experience of working across multiple teams but particularly with development and product teams to create first class websites and customer experience

Relationship and account management experience

Organised and a strong communicator

Good knowledge of Google Analytics, AB Testing tools and User behaviour tools (such as Hotjar)
