This is a key role: operations works as the glue which brings together product, editorial and commercial teams and makes sure that everyone working on a digital brand is pulling in the same direction at the same time. As digital operations assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the wider business team as well as working on some exciting new projects over the coming year.
Your key responsibilities will include acting as product owner for some of Bauer’s market-leading websites, communicating requirements with product management, and acting as a “digital emissary” to the wider Bauer business. You’ll also need the skills to monitor and report performance against key indicators.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be digitally savvy, with a sound knowledge of Google Analytics, PowerPoint and Excel. You’ll also need to be an excellent communicator, with a lot of attention to detail and a positive attitude to solving problems as a team. You’ll need to keep plenty of plates spinning at the same time, so the ability to prioritise well and manage your own time is vital.
