We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Event Administrator to provide administrative support in our busy events team based in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have previous administration and ideally, events experience along with the ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing.

You will be working within the events team in the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of events including awards evenings, breakfast clubs, dinners, conferences and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to manage their time effectively, have a very keen eye for detail and work well within a small team.

Specific duties of the role will include providing full administrative support, process bookings, pre and post event communications with delegates and attendees, processing of invoices and payments, liaising with internal and external suppliers, working closely with members of the events team, working with databases, updating website content on all event sites, completing mail merges and onsite event duties at live events.

The nature of the role requires you to be flexible when required with regard to working hours and to be prepared to travel to events, which will involve overnight stays (not weekends).

The successful candidate will have proven administration experience, flawless attention to detail including grammar and spelling, and have an excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. An understanding of SAP and PowerPoint would be an advantage.
