As an Event manager/head of conferences your key task will be to support the Event director in the implementation of the conference programme of events and in all event related tasks.
You will be expected to jump in, roll up your sleeves, and get into the work — concepting, executing, producing, and tracking.
The perfect candidate has experience with large professional conferences attracting up to 500 + delegates, and should be adept at coordinating with a wide range of internal stakeholders. Must be comfortable and have experience handling significant budgets for individual events, partnering with external vendors and agencies in order to deliver on time and on budget for each event.
You will be expected to focus on the delivery of a 3 key conferences in automotive & rail markets whilst also managing smaller seminars and identifying new opportunities to launch.
You will possess a proven track record of conference management. You will be proficient in all aspects of events and demonstrate a deep understanding of conference business and drive knowledge in this field, probably for working for a senior professional conference organisation
You will bring exceptional skills in project and budget management, and the coordination of resources and suppliers, both internal and external. Candidates need to be prepared to travel.
