A rare opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to fulfil a senior role within the highly successful radio division of Bauer Media UK.

This is a company where audiences come first and consumer insight drives product development. Bauer Media is proud of its award-winning portfolio of local and national radio stations.
The position of Managing Director, Bauer Radio Northern Ireland - broadcasting a portfolio of 3 services across the territory, including the out and out commercial market leader Cool FM, will report directly into the Bauer Media, Radio Group Managing Director.
In addition the role will be accountable for the development of our people strategy, working closely with the senior radio team and the learning and development team. The aim being to ensure that key talent is identified and appropriate development plans are in place to retain and grow the capability of future industry-recognised high-fliers.
It is essential that any applicant is able to demonstrate a proven track record in successfully developing and executing strategy at a senior level. Bauer’s radio business is populated at all levels by passionate, curious, tenacious, creative and driven people and these are values which we would expect to be evident in the behavior of a new senior leader.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the future audience, revenue and profit growth of this portfolio of radio stations and new digital services.
Previous experience working in Radio would be an advantage but is not essential.
