Our Team: 

The brand team are responsible for the marketing of the print, digital and events products to consumers and we also have a hand in ensuring all other marketing teams deliver communications that are relevant and on-brand. Plus we are always looking for ways to acquire the data of potential new customers that we and the other marketing teams can use to promote our products.

The brands in this portfolio focus on motorcycles, so an interest in the subject would be helpful, but certainly isn’t necessary.

You’ll receive both formal and on-the-job training for your day-to-day tasks.

The focus of your role: 

Delivering marketing campaigns to drive newsstand and subscription sales, and help us acquire data to market our brands to. This might include magazine, supplements, packaging, print ads, digital marketing and live events.

What you’ll do:

  • Ownership of multiple marketing campaigns, using best practice and always building on own learnings to deliver accurate and timely marcomms for each brand such as print advert, email newsletters and event attendance
  • Build and maintain strong face-to-face working relationships with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure the most effective communication takes places, particularly:
  • working with designers to create adverts, digital marketing graphics and exhibition stand graphics
  • working with production controller to facilitate the production of supplements, print and packaging
  • dealing with customer enquiries in the quickest and most appropriate manner by the correct person/department
  • Sourcing prizes and setting up competitions, ensuring data capture and marketing conforms to data protection compliance standards
  • Raising purchase orders accurately and keeping track of all costs with excellent attention to detail
  • Produce comprehensive reporting of activity, making suggestions for improvements and spotting additional opportunities
