Bauer Media celebrates growth across all four networks

Record reach for KISS and Magic networks

#1 and #2 national commercial breakfast shows for KISS and Absolute Radio

Bauer continues digital leadership with 60% of listening via digital device

  • Bauer Media grows total reach to 18 million, with increases across all four of its networks
  • Bauer continues its digital leadership with 60% of listening via a digital device, compared to the industry average of 50%

  • Best ever reach for the KISS Network with 5.7 million listeners
  • Rickie, Melvin & Charlie remain at the top again with the #1 national commercial breakfast show for the fourth consecutive quarter
  • Record reach for KISSTORY with 1.8 million listeners, the #1 digital only commercial station

  • Absolute Radio Network grows to 4.5 million listeners
  • The Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show retains the #2 national commercial breakfast show position
  • Absolute 80s is the #2 digital only commercial station, growing to 1.5 million listeners

  • Record reach for the Magic Radio Network with 3.7 million listeners
  • Record highs for Mellow Magic with 519,000 listeners and Magic Chilled with 270,000

  • Bauer City Network grows to 6.8 million listeners driven by increases from a number of cities including:
    • Preston – Rock FM 209,000 listeners
    • Sheffield – Hallam FM 354,000
    • Edinburgh – Forth 1 380,000
    • Belfast:
      • Downtown Country 142,000 – record high
      • Downtown Radio 288,000
      • Cool FM 495,000 – record high
    • Nottingham – Gem 106 532,000 – record high
    • Manchester – Key 103 366,000
    • Liverpool – Radio City 383,000
