Union J’s Jaymi Hensley to cover The Hits Radio Breakfast

Jaymi Hensley is set to join The Hits to host weekday breakfast in his first foray into radio.

The Union J star will cover regular presenter Tom Green for two weeks and will be spinning all the latest hits from 7-11am Monday to Friday. In-between the songs, Jaymi will look back at the biggest showbiz stories of the week and plans to reveal some top gossip and a few surprises along the way.

Jaymi said “I’m so excited to be taking the helm of The Hits Breakfast show – it’s a great way to kick-start the day, with music, and the latest you need to know – we’ll have fun!”

Over the last few years the infectious, energetic Jaymi Hensley has carefully carved out a flourishing career in both music and television since first appearing on our screens as a member of Union J who finished 4th on the X Factor in 2012.  The boys subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music’s division RCA Records and released their first studio album before touring with the Vamps in 2015.

Jaymi’s TV credentials include appearances on a number of UK shows including Release The Hounds ( ITV2 ), The Great Magician ( ITV1 ) and Big Brothers Bit On The Side ( Channel 5). 2017 marks the official return of Union J who are set to release new material in the summer. Jaymi’s Union J bandmate Josh Cuthbert also currently presents for heat radio on Sunday afternoons.

Tom Green is covering the Live@ Kiss show on the KISS Network from Monday 26th – Friday 30th June before taking the following week as holiday Monday 3rd – Friday 7th July. Jaymi will cover the Hits Breakfast show throughout.
