In order to continue to deliver ever more engaging and relevant content for its audiences, the Bauer City Network is strengthening and expanding its senior programming team.

Gary Stein is appointed Group Programming Director of the Bauer City Network, a newly created senior role, which will see Gary bring a wealth of additional commercial radio and music programming expertise to the network. For the last four years, Gary has been Managing Editor at Heart London, and previously has had over 17 years’ experience at Bauer stations including Northsound, Radio Clyde, Hallam FM and Key 103.

In addition to Gary’s new role, Owen Ryan is appointed Group Content Director for the Bauer City 1 Network North and Scotland. In this newly created role, Owen will be taking on responsibility for programming across Lancashire, Yorkshire, North England and Scotland. Chris Pegg will take on an expanded role as Regional Content Director – North West and Midlands, extending his remit to include Free Radio.

These appointments will commence in January 2018.
