Bauer Media agency collaboration makes Magnetic Spotlight winners list

Magnetic has announced the winners from its annual Spotlight Awards showcase with a Bauer Media campaign collaboration taking home an award with Public Health England and a commendation for  Smart Energy.

Working in partnership with representatives from Bauer Media, Dennis, Haymarket, Hearst, Immediate and TI Media, Spotlight celebrates the very best advertising campaigns in magazine media; showing the most effective ideas, insight and diversity of work that has run in magazine brands over the last 12 months.

The awards took place on Thursday 19th September at The Hospital Club.

Magnetic’s Spotlight Awards break down the winning campaigns into seven categories, including the New Magazine Advertiser of the Year, Best Content Partnership, Best Use of Digital and the Client of the Year.

The awards were judged by an all-star panel consisting of: Sue Todd (CEO, Magnetic), Anna Hickey (COO, Wavemaker), Dominic Mills (Columnist and commentator), Oliver Feldwick (Head of Innovation, The&Partnership), Gavin Sheppard (CMO, Smart Energy UK), Laura Moorcraft (Managing Partner, Goodstuff), Jon Kershaw (Managing Director, PHD Manchester) and Anna Sampson (Strategy & Insight Director, Magnetic).

Sue Todd, CEO, Magnetic said: “Throughout 2019 we’ve been focusing on why advertisers should invest in magazine media and the Spotlight winners really capture how the medium delivers high quality attention to advertising at great value. The importance of attention in advertising has never been more critical and the work done by agencies and brands in this space is a refreshing reminder of the capacity for magazines to meet briefs in imaginative and exciting ways.”
