Bauer Media Secures Jaguar as Commercial Partner for First Ever Mojo Podcast

Bauer Media, the UK’s biggest magazine publisher and Europe’s leading digital radio and audio business, has launched the MOJO Innovators podcast with Jaguar as its commercial launch partner to promote the relaunched Jaguar XE.

MOJO Innovators, from the team behind the monthly music bible Mojo, is the latest addition to Bauer Media’s portfolio of digital audio products that are built on world-class publishing & audio content and as well as investment in digital audio solutions. This comes as Bauer’s digital listening lies significantly ahead of the market with 71% of the audience listening via a digital device and 20% of this being digital audio listening streamed over the internet to a connected device.

MOJO Innovators will join a fast expanding digital audio product portfolio which includes:  74 podcasts including The EMPIRE Film Podcast; digital radio stations such as the UK’s biggest commercial digital only station KISSTORY, fast-growing Magic Radio brand extensions including Magic Soul and Alexa Skills developed in-house for all Bauer radio brands.

In this brand-new weekly podcast series MOJO’s Jenny Bulley and her guests will discuss the artists who changed music forever – the singers, songwriters, bands, producers, movers, shakers and epoch makers who mapped wild new trajectories in sound.

Commenting on the partnership, Abby Carvosso, Group Managing Director Bauer Media Advertising said: “Digital audio offers very targeted advertising solutions, with deep engagement and great effectiveness. MOJO Innovators is an example of how we are growing distribution opportunities for our magazine brands. Jaguar are reaching an influential, male, creative audience with this partnership, wrapped up in highly engaging and relevant content within a trusted music brand environment”.

Robert Herd, Head of Jaguar Communications from Jaguar added: “This partnership enables us to position the New Jaguar XE in a creative and engaging way in a brand-safe environment”.

In the first MOJO Innovators episode, Jenny is joined by MOJO editor John Mulvey and Senior Associate Editor Andrew Male to discuss The Beach Boys’ leader and sonic pioneer, Brian Wilson.

In the coming weeks the MOJO team will explore the ground-breaking genius of other innovators, including David Bowie, Kate Bush, Aretha Franklin, and many more.

The podcast activity forms part of a multi-platform campaign running from 6th June to 21st July brokered by THESTORYLAB which includes advertorial in the August issue of MOJO, on sale 24 June, as well as a specially commissioned online advertorial collaboration with tech influencer Tom Honeyands, AKA The Tech Chap.
