Bauer Media UK is to add Bigger Better Crosswords to its successful Puzzles portfolio.
The company already publishes a number of popular puzzles titles including Take a Puzzle, which celebrates its 30th birthday this year and Bigger Better Puzzles, a dedicated large-print mixed puzzle magazine, which launched in January 2021.
An extension to the ‘Bigger Better’ brand, Bigger Better Crosswords is a dedicated large-print crossword title making it inclusive for all readers while featuring fun, high-quality clues.
The monthly 84-page title, priced at £2.50, launches on Thursday 6 May.
Liz Watkinson, Managing Director of Bauer Media UK’s TV Listings, real-life and Puzzles titles commented: “Following on from the successful launch of Bigger Better Puzzles earlier this year we identified a gap in the market for an audience who enjoy crosswords but whose needs are not currently met. Bigger Better Crosswords meets those needs with carefully curated large-print crossword grids which are accessible for all.”
Last year Bauer Media announced the development of a new free interactive puzzles section on the Take a Break website and content collaborations with Wizarding World and The Alzheimer’s Society.
