Greatest Hits Radio brings back Simon Mayo’s Confessions Podcast

A Summer bumper special of highlights from Simon’s Greatest Hits Radio show to be released from August 27th

Having revived the much-loved radio feature on The Simon Mayo Drivetime Show, Greatest Hits Radio is bringing back ‘Confessions’ as a podcast from today (August 27th).

Fans of the show can listen to handpicked highlights from the team since the feature was reintroduced earlier this year, with listeners confessing their deepest, darkest, and most hilarious secrets.

Released initially as a three-part Summer bumper special, the podcast will also contain additional insight and extras.

Simon Mayo said, “Much like the bumper Summer edition of your favourite comic from back in the day, we’ve put this podcast together as a companion to take with you on your holiday this Summer – whether that be somewhere exotic, or 100 yards down the road. Featuring our favourite Confessions that we’ve received since I started on Drivetime on Greatest Hits Radio back in March, we’ll also sprinkle in a little bit of extra insight for good measure.”

Gary Stein, Group Programme Director for the Hits Radio Network said “We thought of all of our listeners taking some time out this Summer who would love to take Simon and the team with them. Hence, the Confessions podcast is reborn! Packed full of stories of greed, debauchery, pranks, deception and honest mistakes, it’ll be hugely entertaining for a car journey or trip.”

‘Confessions’ is the latest new podcast release from Bauer Media Audio UK, which is home to several much-loved series including The Empire Film Podcast, Frank Skinner’s Poetry Podcast, Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard, Dave Berry’s Dadpod and the recent British Podcast Award Winner, Tough Talks from Hits Radio Pride.

Simon Mayo’s Confessions is available now. Listen and download on Planet Radio, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, and all mainstream podcast providers.

Listen to Simon Mayo’s Drivetime Show on Greatest Hits Radio every weekday from 4-7pm – greatesthitsradio.co.uk.
