Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express have partnered with Absolute Radio to support radio’s biggest ever comedy night: Absolute Radio Live with Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express, in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, in a brand awareness campaign seeking to ‘ connect the nation’ and champion real-life meet-ups for friends, family and colleagues across the country. As well as supporting the event, the hotel group will be making a generous donation to Stand Up To Cancer.
The campaign, created in collaboration with Mindshare Invention aims to engage with a valuable audience of 25-44 year olds who, in a world increasingly powered by social media, feel more disconnected from their friends with 84% reporting that social media is no substitute for connecting in real life (Bauer Insiders, Age of Acceleration 2018) - positioning Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express as the champions of ‘real human connection’.
The partnership will bring this ‘real human connection’ to life through one of Absolute Radio’s flagship experiential events as Absolute Radio Live is set to take over the London Palladium once again on 24th November, 2019. The night will feature some of the UK’s brightest comedic stars including Dara Ó Briain, Jo Brand, Tom Allen and hosted by Frank Skinner.
