Britain’s biggest-selling magazine hosts the night the stars won’t miss

We are proud to announce that The TV Choice Awards 2019 will take place at The Hilton on Park Lane, London, on Monday 9^th September. We are also delighted to say that Richard Osman will be back for a third time as our host. As the stars of the nation’s favourite shows gather to celebrate another cracking year of TV, we are expecting our 23rd Awards ceremony to be a truly memorable night!

Richard said: “I can’t wait to be hosting the best night of the TV year once again. The atmosphere is always amazing, full of famous faces from drama, comedy, entertainment, and people who I assume are from ‘Love Island’! Such a great celebration of great TV.”

This really is the people’s choice, as 1.4m weekly readers of Britain’s best-selling magazine, TV Choice, pick their winners by voting online or via forms in the magazine.

As ever there is a wealth of top TV and talent vying for votes. Yet again Line Of Duty and Unforgotten had us hooked, while new dramas like Bodyguard and Cheat were real talking points.  Or will your vote go to a nominee from one of the streaming services, such as Netflix’s The Haunting Of Hill House?

The soaps keep us tuning in every week, thanks to gripping storylines and stunning performances. No doubt there will be some tough battles for this year’s trophies, but we’ll have to wait until the big night to see which show scoops the top prize, when it is crowned Best Soap.

Last year saw the likes of Ioan Gruffudd, Michelle Keegan, Phillip & Holly and Danny Dyer all take to the stage to claim prizes. Who’ll be raising a glass in celebration in 2019?

Voting opens on 14^th May and viewers have until midnight on 31^st May to cast their first round votes at www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk or via the in-magazine voting form. Shortlist nominations will be announced in late June, when voting will re-open.
