Paul Sylvester

Paul Sylvester is Content Director of the Absolute Radio network. He’s led the stations in the last year as audiences hit a record 4.5m and in 2016 was awarded Radio Programmer of the Year at the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards.

He is responsible for hiring and coaching all on-air talent and producers. In the last year he’s commissioned award-winning documentaries, poached Dave Berry from Capital Radio and convinced Noel Gallagher to host his first radio show. He created commercial radio's biggest ever live comedy event, taking over the London Palladium and raising awarenss and funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. He’s also produced the station’s festival coverage for the last eight years and is a longstanding supporter of both the Student Radio Association and Hospital Broadcasting Association.

Previously, he was Executive Producer and newsreader at LBC, Heart 106.2 and Lincs FM.
