Testing Reflexes At The Year Ahead 2024
In front of senior agency leaders, marketers and media owners, Bauer Media took part in AdWanted’s first session of the year at The Year Ahead last Thursday. With one of the most high-profile audiences of any conference throughout the year, Bauer brought a dose of fun and entertainment to the January event, with Magic Radio’s Harriet Scott and Tom Price hosting a special live version of the Breakfast show’s game The Reflex. The premise is simple: players have 10 seconds to name 5 things which all begin with the same letter from the categories given. At The Year Ahead, Harriet went easy on the audience members, giving them a generous 15 seconds.
The duo were joined on stage by the likes of Stephen Woodford the CEO of the Advertising Association, bidding to win tickets to some of Bauer’s biggest events such as Magic at the Musicals at the Royal Albert Hall, Absolute Radio’s comedy night at the Palladium and Hits Radio Live at the brand new Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.
After a quick demonstration between Harriet and Tom the game was on! With every player managing to answer their questions in the allotted time and winning tickets to a Bauer event of their choice, it was the perfect way to kickstart a new advertising year and bring a fun reprieve to The Year Ahead.
