Learning & Development at Bauer
At Bauer, we never stop learning. This enables both our people and our company to be the best. At the Academy, we believe that the best way to learn is to do – enabled through our industry-based training delivered by media experts across the UK.
Our Internal Bauer Academy Offering
Launched in 2014, Bauer Academy has a clear mission – to disrupt traditional education by providing outstanding learning opportunities inside the industry. Offering a credible alternative to college and university that is inclusive and impactful, it enables people at all ages and career stages to develop new knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
Bauer Academy’s educational philosophy is simple. Its ‘learn and apply’ approach creates an environment where experimentation, collaboration, reflection, and application are essential. In doing so, individual performance is improved, and learning communities are created – making Bauer an exciting, collaborative place to work.
Whether through its exciting Learning Plan or government-approved apprenticeship programmes, Bauer Academy creates an always-learning culture in Bauer, which is transformational for individuals, teams, and entire businesses. Training also brings Bauer’s people together across countries, with masterclasses connecting teams across Europe.
To date, Bauer Academy has delivered training to over 20,000 people in areas including, leadership, coaching, digital, journalism, media, advertising, sales, content creation and much more.
As a centre of excellence, Bauer Academy not only provides learning and development solutions for Bauer’s people, but also provides training to external clients, including global companies such as Ogilvy, M&C Saatchi, LEGO, Red Bull, Reach plc, ITV and many more.
Founded to improve social mobility and diversity in the creative sector, Bauer Academy has a track record for supporting under-represented groups to access high quality training, proudly partnering with the government, businesses, and third sector organisations.
