Bauer Media Appoints Jill Ford as Head of HR/Business Partner for the UK Publishing Business

Bauer Media today announced the appointment of Jill Ford as Head of HR/Business Partner for the UK Publishing Business, to focus on offering dedicated strategic HR support for UK Publishing.  She will report directly to Chris Duncan CEO of UK Publishing and have a dual reporting line into Julia Brass, Interim Senior HR Business Partner for global Publishing. 

Jill joins Bauer Media from HCA International Ltd, where she held the position of Chief HR Officer since April 2018.  Jill led HR for the GP Services business of HCA, building people centric and commercial strategies to create an employee experience to mirror the patient experience.  She partnered with the CEO to support its 400 UK multi-sited employees across the full People remit from Talent Attraction through to Organisational Design and Employee Engagement.

Prior to this, Jill spent six years at Gap Inc, as Senior HR Business Partner for Gap Europe responsible for Culture Development & Organisational Change, as a successful HR consultant for a number of clients and spent several years in media as Talent & Culture Director and senior HR roles for EMAP. 

Lynda Grayson has been appointed Talent Manager for Bauer Media UK Publishing also offering a dedicated talent resource to the UK Publishing business.  Lynda has extensive experience in all aspects of Talent attraction and development from recruitment, onboarding succession planning and beyond.  Most recently Lynda was Talent/Learning and Development Manager for EMP Ltd.  

Kerry Jenkins has been promoted to Senior HR Manager and Dawn O’Neale, HR Manager will now report directly into Kerry.   Kerry and Lynda will both report into Jill Ford.

This announcement follows the recent Senior HR Business Partner appointments within Bauer Media Group’s global team, which included Sarah Barnes, previously People & Culture Director Bauer Media UK, to the new role of Senior HR Business Partner for Bauer’s global Audio Business. 

Jill and Lynda will take up their positions with immediate effect.
