KISS launches annual Haunted House Party virtually for the first time in partnership with Sky VIP and Nando’s

KISS has today announced that it is partnering with Sky VIP and Nando’s to hold its annual KISS Haunted House Party virtually for the first time this year. Usually held at The SSE Arena, Wembley, this year the event will be held and recorded at Chelsea’s Under the Bridge venue and hosted by KISS Breakfast presenters Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely. Featuring performances from UK and international artists, it will air simultaneously across the KISS Network – including KISS FM, KISSTORY and KISS Fresh – and online, allowing Sky VIP and Nando’s to reach a potential audience of over 5.1 million.
This year’s virtual Halloween party follows other virtual live events KISS has launched since the pandemic began, including KISS Fest, KISS Ibiza and the KISSTORY Weekender. In search for entertainment, escapism and a social connection to others in place of physical events, KISS’s social-media-loving audiences have welcomed these virtual events, leading to the network recording all-time high streaming figures; some weeks reaching over double the number of listeners as the same time last year.
As part of the partnership, Sky VIP will be launching a competition via the MySky App where winners will go behind the scenes and be treated to a special intimate set from one of this year’s performers. Official food partner Nando’s will also provide audiences with exclusive backstage interviews and Halloween-themed challenges with this year’s line-up.
Performances and artist interviews will be pre-recorded in Covid-safe conditions at Under the Bridge or in other remote locations and packaged alongside live links from the KISS Breakfast hosts on Saturday 31st October at 6pm.
The line-up for the event will be revealed next month, and all artists will be encouraged to dress up in their finest Halloween costumes as with previous events. Last year’s event saw acts such as Rita Ora, Anne-Marie and Liam Payne.
The fastest-growing KISS station of 2020 – KISS Dance, will keep the rave going from 9pm with the KISS Dance Haunted House Afterparty. The four-hour show will see the world’s biggest DJ’s in the mix across KISS FM UK, the KISS Dance channel and streamed live on socials.
KISS Content Director, Rebecca Frank said “This year everyone needs pulling together more than ever. Our Haunted House event has always been about fun, music and escapism – and this year is no different DESPITE not being in a massive arena. The artist line-up is united in wanting to bring some joy into people’s homes via their amazing performances and all of us at KISS, Sky VIP and Nando’s will be with you throughout the whole experience to connect the whole of the UK up into one massive party.”
KISS Haunted House Party will be broadcast across the KISS Network from and via live stream from 6pm on Saturday 31st October. Fans can also follow along on KISS FM UK socials and catch-up on the KISS KUBE app.

About Nando’s
Nando’s is a South African restaurant chain that specialises in Portuguese-African food, including its signature flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken. Founded in Johannesburg in 1987, Nando’s operates over 1,000 outlets in 35 countries.
Today, there are over 410 Nando’s restaurants in the UK and Ireland, but the story starts long before the first UK restaurants opened here in the West London suburb of Ealing. It’s a story of discovery, passion and ambition. It’s an evolving story too, so while Nando’s always looks back on where they’ve come from with pride, it’s where they’re going next that really gets us excited.
PERi-PERi is the heart and soul of Nando’s. For centuries the people of Southeast Africa have used PERi-PERi to bring fire to their food. It is in Mozambique’s rich soil and blistering sunshine that the African Bird’s Eye Chilli grows into its fiery best. When Portuguese explorers arrived there, they were enchanted by its flavour. They added a squeeze of lemon and a kick of garlic and turned PERi-PERi into a very well-travelled spice. Which is how, many years later it ended up in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.
