AWARDS ROUND-UP: WINS AND NOMINATIONS FOR BAUER MEDIA

THE SHORTLIST FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS AUDIO & RADIO INDUSTRY AWARDS (ARIAS) HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED, WITH BAUER SECURING AN INCREDIBLE 29 NOMINATIONS.

Bauer’s national stations Absolute Radio, Hits Radio, KISS, Magic Radio, Scala Radio and Greatest Hits Radio are among nominees, along with local stations Clyde 1, Forth 1, Hallam FM, Pulse 1, Metro Radio, Free Radio and Wave 105.

This year there are 28 awards to be won on the night in categories such as Radio Times Moment of the Year as voted for by the public and The 2022 Special Award, recognising radio coverage of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 hosted by Hits Radio Breakfast presenter Fleur East alongside media personality Rylan Clark.

This latest set of nominations follows on from Wickes and Bauer Media winning the Sponsorship Continuity Award at this year’s UK Sponsorship Awards, celebrating Wickes’ decade long partnership with Bauer and The Story Lab. KFC’s sponsorship of Tyler on KISS Afternoons was also Highly Commended in the Print, Radio & Film Sponsorships category.

Bauer Media has also received 8 nominations for the PPA Awards this year, with Grazia shortlisted for Campaign of The Year for their ‘End Cyberflashing’ campaign, Empire magazine for Cover of the Year and Bauer Media for Employer of The Year.

Channel 4 and Bauer are also nominated for Commercial Partnership of the Year for the popular Derry Girls X Smash Hits promotion – which was also nominated for the Entertainment category at the Campaign Media Awards earlier this year.
