Cash for Kids 2024

What to expect this Cash For Kids Day

On Thursday Cash for Kids Day  will support our charity helping young people, making sure children have enough food during the holidays.

What to look out for

Our biggest brands are getting involved in Cash for Kids Day 2024, putting the ‘fun’ in fundraising.

Over at Absolute Radio, you normally hear Tea Break Trivia as part of the station’s No Repeat Guarantee,so Absolute have created a special version for Cash for Kids Day. Listeners will be joining their favourite hosts and some special guests for a quiz like no other.

Magic Radio’s Tom and Kat  are hosting their Big Karaoke Party on Thursday and need listeners to hold their own too. Everyone who signs up gets a free digital fundraising pack which includes a special code giving them one month’s free access to 11,000 karaoke classics via the Lucky Voice app. Expect the biggest songs, some special guests and some very questionable singing.

Sam Thompson has challenged schools to take part in his 1 Million Steps Schools Challenge. Hits Radio has tasked him with walking one MILLION steps by Cash for Kids Day on Thursday. If your school would like to get involved, register to get a free fundraising pack, then get sponsored and pledge your steps.

KISS presenters Tyler, Tatum and Jordan Lee took on the London Marathon on Sunday 21st April, raising funds for Cash for Kids. Well done to the KISS gang for completing the iconic run and thank you to everyone who donated.

You can also get your hands on limited edition t-shirts, courtesy of Planet Rock and Greatest Hits Radio.
Planet Rock has three t-shirts available until midnight on Thursday 2nd May – designed by Lzzy Hale from Halestorm, Scott Gorham from Thin Lizzy and Terrorvision’s Tony Wright. Get yours here.
Greatest Hits Radio is offering a t-shirt featuring a unique and timeless photo taken by the legendary Mick Rock. But be quick, they’re also only available until the 2nd of May!

Finally, we’ve partnered with musicMagpie to give you the opportunity to turn your old CD’s, DVD’s and tech into donations for Cash for Kids Day. It’s the perfect excuse for a spring clearout, so get started today.
