Bauer Media and Currys Continue Partnership With High Impact Black Friday Campaign

Bauer Media Audio UK and the UK’s largest tech retailer, Currys are strengthening their longstanding partnership with a new Black Friday campaign designed to deliver standout impact.

Building on six years of successful collaboration, the campaign will run across three of Bauer’s leading radio stations – Hits Radio, KISS and Absolute Radio to create a high-profile, multi-station campaign that will engage listeners with exclusive content, creative activations, as well as giving  them the chance to win some of Currys must-have tech.

The campaign will showcase Currys boldest Black Friday promise yet: “Our Lowest Ever Price”. This messaging will be brought to life across Bauer’s flagship shows, weaving the brand into editorial content to create authentic moments of engagement.

The core activation within the campaign is a bespoke Win The Ads ad break, a competition that puts the spotlight on the latest Black Friday deals. Each day, listeners will have the chance to win the tech featured on an exclusive Currys Black Friday ad break – from headphones and smart speakers, to laptops and TVs.

On Absolute Radio and Hits Radio Breakfast Shows, listeners will play a high-stakes game of deal-or-no-deal with featured products – but risk losing it all if they hold out too long.

On KISS Breakfast, listeners will take part in a competition to recall items featured in a Currys-only ad break, with the chance to win every single product mentioned. To keep it 100% KISS, the ads are written, voiced and produced in the station’s signature style, weaving in the key message of Our Lowest Ever Prices sung by the Currys choir, keeping aligned with the wider Black Friday activity.

Running throughout the campaign, spotlight bursts and creative trails will highlight deals and drive awareness of the retailer’s Black Friday offers, while giving audiences more chances to win, whilst positioning Currys as the go-to destination for Black Friday, with their lowest ever prices.

Dedicated online creative pages will support the campaign across stations, with KISS and Hits Radio driving listener call-ins from launch, and Absolute Radio offering pre-registration for the on-air competitions.
