Bauer Media Audio UK introduces brand new live events, expanding its residency at The London Palladium
Following the success of the likes of Absolute Radio Live and the Magic of Christmas, Bauer Media Audio UK has announced it is expanding its live event offering to listeners across its platforms. This November shall see the introduction of two brand new events from Scala Radio and Greatest Hits Radio at The London Palladium, as well an additional performance of Magic of Christmas to meet demand.
Scala Radio Christmas Live will feature the Best of the West End and Classical favourites, including performances by Michael Ball & Alfie Boe, Anne Dudley, Luke Evans and MILOŠ in a brand-new event hosted by Scala Radio presenter Penny Smith on Sunday 27th November.
Ahead of them, on the Friday evening, Greatest Hits Radio will be putting on a ‘Party at the Palladium’ hosted by presenters Kate Thornton and Martin Kemp. They’ll be joined by artists including singer Howard Jones and UK soul legend Mica Paris, who will be accompanied by the Greatest Hits Radio house band as they play their biggest hits, and Simon Mayo, Jackie Brambles and Paul Gambaccini will be in conversation as they share their tales of some of music’s most iconic moments.
Elsewhere across the jam-packed week of events, Absolute Radio Live returns to bring radio’s biggest comedy event to the stage to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, with host Frank Skinner and comedians including Romesh Ranganathan and Kerry Godliman, while Magic Radio brings its glittering Magic of Christmas event back for two consecutive performances featuring acts including Blue and James Morrison. What’s more, Planet Rock will also bring back its Zeppelin Symphonic concert following last year’s sold-out inaugural event.

Holiday Inn Express has joined to partner with Bauer across a number of these events, as well as Hits Live in Manchester and Birmingham on the 11th and 12th November, as part of its campaign to celebrates monumental life moments.
