
Bauer Media Unveils Media First Cross-Platform Content Strategy for BRIT Awards 2018 with Mastercard

Bauer Media have unveiled plans for a cross-platform multi-brand broadcast ‘Live at the BRITs’. KISS’s newest presenter Tom Green will host a radio show live from the world famous music event, which will be broadcast simultaneously across a number of Bauer’s radio networks. In addition, this year sees a media first as twenty of Bauer Facebook and Twitter profiles will broadcast live from the red carpet. This extensive audio, online and social coverage is another example of how Bauer are integrating multi-platform content, to widen the appeal of their brand to audiences. Broadcasting to over 10 million and reaching a social media audience of more than 7.3million.
Tom Green – known for his exceptional rapport with talent and creating engaging video interviews, and is set to bring a sense of huge excitement to the radio show. KISS presenter Pandora and heat presenter Emily Segal will host the social live broadcast, showcasing all the looks and latest activity from the red carpet. After the broadcasts, on-demand content will be available online and will feature exclusive interviews with award nominees and celebrities, plus exclusive backstage access.

The BRIT Awards 2018 with Mastercard, hosted by Jack Whitehall, will take place on 21st February at The O2 Arena in London. Performances include Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Justin Timberlake, Stormzy, Jorja Smith and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man. Tickets to the biggest night in UK music are currently up for grabs across on-air competitions on Absolute Radio, Magic Radio, heat radio and KISS, so fans have the chance experience the excitement first-hand.
On 21st February, Bauer will be live from the BRITs red carpet from 4pm. ‘Live at the BRITS’ will be broadcast from 7-10pm.
The social media shows will be broadcast across Bauer brands KISS, heat, Key 103, Radio City, Metro, Forth 1, Clyde 1, Hallam FM, The Hits, Northsound, Radio Aire, Rock FM, Tay FM, Viking FM, MFR, West FM, Cool FM, Gem 106, Free Radio and Wave 105. On demand-content will be available on the brands online.
The radio shows will be broadcast simultaneously on Bauer brands KISS, heat and the Bauer City Network including Key 103, Hallam FM, Metro, Aire, Forth, Clyde, Free, Gem and The Hits, with highlights also broadcast on Absolute Radio and featured on heatworld.
