After impressing in her cameo appearances this year, Gemma Atkinson joins the Key 103 breakfast team from February 2017, alongside Mike Toolan and Matt Haslam.
Famed for her roles on Hollyoaks, Casualty and Emmerdale the star is beginning to carve out a strong broadcasting career for herself as she lays her claim to radio.
Gemma said “I’m so happy to be part of the Key 103 team. I’m born and bred Manchester and this city means so much to me. I can’t wait to share all the laughs and great music with you and I’ll try and keep Mike and Matt in check as much as possible!”
From 1988 Key 103 has been with Manchester every step of the way, catering for its rich musical heritage. The station plays the biggest songs of the moment including Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift, Olly Murs, Rita Ora, Bruno Mars and Sam Smith as well as the classics we all still love to hear.
Gemma Atkinson, Mike Toolan and Matt Haslam will wake up Manchester, Monday to Friday 6am-10am from February 2017.
