Greatest Hits Radio partners with the Official Charts Company to count down UK’S Top 200 Most-Streamed Albums from the 70s, 80s and 90s
Greatest Hits Radio has partnered with the Official Charts Company to present a three-day countdown of the UK’s most-streamed albums from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This UK radio first, compiles the official ranking of the Top 200 albums across the three decades since UK streaming data records began.
This unique countdown will commence today from 11am (Friday 26th November), and will run across the weekend, culminating in the final top 40 being revealed on Simon Mayo’s Album Show from 1pm on Sunday 28th November.
Speaking about the chart, Simon Mayo said “This is set to be fascinating insight into the albums that resonate the most with audiences today. From the Stones to Springsteen, we’ll find out which artists’ records have really stood the test of time.”
The chart coincides with the first anniversary of The Album show with Simon Mayo, which celebrates the biggest albums of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Simon can also be found hosting the Drivetime show every weekday from 4-7pm on the station.
