Hits Radio announces that it will introduce one single national Breakfast show across England and Wales from June 9th 2025. This change marks the end of the current regional Breakfast shows, which will broadcast for the final time on June 6th.

Both Hits Radio and Greatest Hits Radio will continue to broadcast local news, including traffic and travel information, as well as support disadvantaged young people in the local regions through Bauer Media Group’s charity, Cash for Kids.

In tandem with these programming changes, Bauer Media announces that it will streamline its operations by consolidating its production capabilities into seven key centres located in London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Belfast. This strategic move is designed to enhance operational efficiency while continuing to deliver high-quality content to listeners nationwide.
