Audiences for Magic Radio and Greatest Hits Radio will be able to unlock a new way to listen to their favourite stations and favourite presenters – including Ken Bruce and Simon Mayo on Greatest Hits Radio and Magic Radio’s Breakfast team of Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott – as Bauer Media Audio UK today announces it is to launch premium subscription services for both brands.

For a monthly fee, the premium subscription service allows listeners to access the stations 24/7 in an ad-break free uninterrupted listening environment, and thanks to cutting edge song skip technology, allows skips on up to 6 tracks per hour on app, web and voice activated devices like Amazon Alexa, even while listening to live radio.

In addition to the greater levels of personal control and flexibility that the premium service offers, subscribers also benefit from even more choice, with access to exclusive webcast stations.

For Greatest Hits Radio listeners this means exclusive access to five brand new stations: Simon Mayo’s Album Tracks, Good Times Anthems, Greatest Hits of the 70s, Greatest Hits of the 80s and Greatest Hits of the 90s.

Exclusive Magic Radio stations will include Girl Power, Slow Dance, Soul Floor Fillers, Power Ballads and Boybands. These will be available alongside existing Magic stations including Chilled, Soul, Mellow and Musicals.

Greatest Hits Radio Premium and Magic Radio Premium will be available as a free 30-day trial, followed by a payment of £3.99 a month. For the one monthly fee, listeners will have access to the other premium brands KISS, Absolute Radio Planet Rock, Kerrang!, Jazz FM and Scala Radio.

Magic Radio Premium is available now, with Greatest Hits Radio Premium launching in mid-February.
