NIALL GRAY JOINS HITS RADIO

Hits Radio have announced that presenter Owen Warner is to step back from his Friday and Saturday night shows over the summer. The news comes at a busy time for Owen who has recently joined the cast of the West End production of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution.

Taking over the slot from this Friday [May 1] will be Niall Gray. Previously a host on Capital and the BBC, Niall’s viral videos parodying TV formats and cultural trends regularly rack up millions of views and in 2025 he debuted comedy show ‘Let the Best Man Win’ at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Niall said: ‘I’m so excited to be joining Hits Radio and working alongside such a brilliant line-up of presenters. I can’t wait to get started and have some fun with the listeners every weekend!’

Hits Radio Content Director Paul Gerrard said:
‘We’re really excited to welcome Niall to the Hits Radio family; he’s a fantastic talent and we can’t wait for listeners to hear what he’s got lined for them on a Friday and Saturday night. And we all want to wish Owen the very best as he makes his West End debut and thank him for all the energy, fun and passion he’s brought to the station at the weekends. He remains a huge part of the Hits Radio line-up and we look forward to welcoming him back later this year.’
