Parkers Announces Shortlist for New Car Awards 2019

Parkers – the definitive resource for car buyers in the U.K. – has today (23^rd August) announced the shortlist for Parkers New Car Awards 2019 in partnership with Absolute Radio and mustard.co.uk with voting now open for an additional category: the People’s Choice Award.

The new award asks consumers to choose their favourite electric car arriving on the market – placing them at the heart of the most prevalent topic in the automotive industry today.

Voters can choose from a shortlist of electric/plug-in cars, ranging from a Porsche Taycan to an Audi E-Tron, giving them the power to shape the conversation and continue to place consumer insight at the heart of Parkers impartial buying advice.

Now in its second year, the Parkers New Car Awards 2019 continue to reflect the views of Britain’s car-buying public, with winners decided by the purchasing habits of the website’s 2.3+ million users* actively involved in the buying process – cementing Parker’s position as the most trusted resource for car buyers in the U.K.

Further categories have been added this year to reflect the buying habits of Parkers.co.uk users: Best off-roader and Best tow car, and invaluable insight into the secondhand market from Parkers Cars for Sale has seen the introduction of the Used Car of the Year award.
