Party at the Palladium! Greatest Hits Radio kicks off the Christmas season with a brand-new live event

The team at Greatest Hits Radio will be kicking off the festive season in style this November as, for the first time ever, they celebrate the very the best music from the 70s, 80s and 90s with an unmissable Party at the Palladium!

Taking place at the historic London Palladium on Friday November 25^th, Greatest Hits Radio Live will be hosted by Greatest Hits Radio presenters Kate Thornton and Martin Kemp and feature performances from legendary artists including 80s icon Howard Jones, UK pop chart legend Heather Small and Queen of Soul Mica Paris.

Our hosts will also be joined on stage by fellow Greatest Hits Radio colleagues Simon Mayo, Jackie Brambles and Paul Gambaccini who will be sharing tales of the world’s biggest stars and music’s most iconic moments.

And the party doesn’t stop there as the very best of London’s West End will also be delighting music lovers at Greatest Hits Radio Live. Star of West End hit MAMMA MIA!, Mazz Murray, will be thrilling the audience with an unmissable rendition of an iconic song;  as will spell-binding performances from the inspirational Bob Marley musical, Get Up Stand Up and the exhilarating  Tina – The Tina Turner Musical.

The acts will be accompanied by the incredible Greatest Hits Radio House Band who will be playing live and encouraging the audience to get on their feet and celebrate the biggest songs from the greatest decades of all times – the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Martin Kemp said: ‘Greatest Hits Radio should have done something like this a long time ago but now I’m here we’re making sure it’s happening! I mean the Palladium – the Beatles have played there, Johnny Cash has played there, Alfred Hitchcock made a film there. Spandau Ballet didn’t play there – we were too big for that! But this event is going to be an absolute party and I’m so excited.’

Kate Thornton said: ‘I’m really excited that we’re going to be bringing so much great music and so much nostalgia to the magical London Palladium stage. We’ve created this incredible house band who will provide back up for these legendary artists who are performing on the night. It’s going to be a show quite unlike anything else that will be on in the West End that weekend – it’s going to be terrific!’
