Hits Radio have announced today two new presenters for Hits Radio and Hits Radio Pride.

Joining Hits Radio for a new 6 – 9 am Sunday Breakfast Show, will be broadcaster Mary Mandefield. Mary has recently hosted youth social action show, Life Hacks, for BBC Radio 1 as well as presenting shows for BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Radio London. Her first show for Hits Radio will be Sunday 8th October.

Mary said: “Bring on Sunday Breakfast! It might be an early start but I’ll still be bringing the weekend vibes and playing all the tunes that I love. There will be no better way to start your Sunday so make sure you join me from Sunday October 8th.”

Molly Sutton will also be joining the Hits Radio family, hosting 2 – 7pm every weekday on Hits Radio Pride from Monday November 6th.

Molly moves to Hits Radio Pride after presenting at Gaydio, listeners to Molly’s new afternoon show can expect everything from Shania Twain and Taylor Swift to the Blessed Madonna and Eliza Rose.

On her new role, Molly said: “I’m so excited to join Hits Radio Pride! My heart truly belongs in front of a radio mic playing the bops and feeling like I’m chatting away to my mates. I love that I get to keep listeners company in the afternoon; whether you’re out and about for the fun of it or heading home from your working day, let’s spend the afternoons having a laugh and toe-tapping to the tunes!”

Paul Gerrard, Programme Director, Hits Radio said: “I’m really excited to be able to announce that Mary and Molly are joining the Hits Radio team. We first met Mary through a Radio Academy event following our Station of the Year win and her energy and passion for radio is truly infectious!  And Molly is going to be the perfect addition to our brilliant Hits Radio Pride line up – we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes with her and I can’t wait to see what she brings to weekday afternoons.”
