MOJO

MOJO is the home of great music – and the home of great writing about great music. Since 1993, we’ve been telling stories about our favourite records and sharing our new discoveries. We’ve spoken to our heroes: Paul McCartney, Prince, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Sly Stone, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Temptations, Leonard Cohen, Brian Wilson, Pink Floyd, Pharoah Sanders, The Rolling Stones and countless more.

We’ve championed wave after wave of emerging artists, from a wide range of genres, and made profound connections between the newest music and what has gone before. And we’ve dug tirelessly through the racks of record shops around the world to uncover lost and unsung gems. Our belief is that however much you know about music, and about the musicians you love, there’s always more to find out.

We pride ourselves on revelatory interviews, in-depth features and definitive reviews of the month’s very best releases. Every issue is an event, beautifully designed with a meticulous eye for detail, and packed with rare and striking photos. It’s a magazine with high brand values and unflinching integrity. MOJO celebrates quality over popularity – the music that will stand the test of time. As the late David Crosby once proclaimed, “MOJO is the only real music magazine left in the whole world!”

mojo4music.com

At www.mojo4music.com, you’ll find a wealth of news stories, key album and live reviews, classic interviews from our archives, and lists that are always valuable and insightful, never clickbait. We’re here to celebrate the music we love, not pick fights and unload hot takes. Over three decades, we’ve always tried to remember that we’re music fans – and that many of the artists we feature are music fans, too.

MOJO Collectors’ Series

Besides our monthly issues of MOJO, we also publish special bookazines entirely dedicated to single artists – the MOJO Collectors’ Series. These deluxe volumes draw on the very best MOJO writing to tell the full stories of our favourite singers and bands. The MOJO Collectors’ Series also includes MOJO Essentials, album-by-album guides to stars including Kate Bush, Bob Dylan, Oasis, The Rolling Stones and many more.

The MOJO Record Club Podcast

The MOJO Record Club podcast is where host Andrew Male and the MOJO team hunt down classic albums, buried treasures and the very best new records in the company of some of our favourite musicians. Among the guests who’ve joined us since launch in 2022: R.E.M.’s Peter Buck, Robert Fripp, Thurston Moore, Rickie Lee Jones, Yo La Tengo, Natalie Merchant, Jethro Tull, Pulp, Teenage Fanclub, Kristin Hersh, Jim O’Rourke and Lloyd Cole. Listen wherever you normally find your podcasts.
